  1. Wondering…lonely as a Cloud?

    • Lonely as a Cloud? Not really 😉 Are clouds lonely? They are rather looking at what is going on and wondering if it all makes sense; and if it doesn’t…trying to give it a one!!! Have a beautiful week!

  2. Glad to hear you are not lonely!… it can be nice to be alone sometimes ( well, without human company) but not all the time 🙂

My reference though was to your blog sub-heading and your id – cloud, and to the poem by Wordsworth.

.I wandered lonely as a Cloud
That floats on high o’er Vales and Hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd
    A host of dancing Daffodils;
Along the Lake, beneath the trees,
Ten thousand dancing in the breeze.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee: –
A poet could not but be gay
    In such a laughing company:
    I gaz’d – and gaz’d – but little thought
What wealth the shew to me had brought:

For oft when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude,
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the Daffodils.

    • I agree with you, it is nice to be alone sometimes.

Lovely poem, discovered it thanks to you. But my sub-heading is related to my nickname…and I am wOndering 😉

  3. So i noticed, and from your intriguing ‘about’ also. Wandering was me just being ‘punny’ 😉

So are you fluent in English, German, French, Portuguese and Spanish?

    and Chinese?

I can manage only one fluently 😦
    爱 Bob

    • Being punny would have worked if I had known the poem you made reference to. Like this I just thought it was a nice query about my state of mind;-) Thank you

Fluent? Some would call it totally fluent at least for the first half you listed. I would say I could at least survive with any of those – except the Chinese, for which I am only at the beginning. And it is harder to survive if first lessons in a language start with “I work a lot, do you also?”
🙂 But a few lessons after I also learned a more important one that you apparently also know.

One fluently sounds fine, Bob, quality is more important than quantity

  4. 🙂 I’m not too sure just how much ‘quality’ my English has – i usually tend to make up for it more in quantity (i rarely ever use 2 words when 20 will do) 😉

Well done on your fluency though! Do i take it from your explanation that you are currently working in China? That could be a very interesting experience. I have to give you credit for my learning the important lesson though. In a previous blog incarnation Love was my id. Never knew the characters for it until you showed me 😉

    I owe you!

    By way of thanks…和谐

Do you know that one? 🙂 ( Got it from Google Translate)

    • Bob, well, you got important things to say which are not covered by only 2 words and you add the quality on more!! Good job.
Chinese is just one of these ideas of mine: completely new language, in no way related to any language I understand, just for the fun and challenge. And one day I can hopefully test it in the country.
Thanks for the new sign 😉
